This test checks the health of a man's sperm. Sperm are reproductive cells made by the male sex organs (called the "testes"). Sperm are released during sex in a fluid called "semen." This test will tell us if your sperm are healthy enough to fertilize a woman's egg to make a baby. And if you've had a vasectomy (that's a male birth control procedure), semen analysis will tell us if it was a success.
